"Look forward to big and better nextyear" After our début in 2007, the Wild West Comedy Fest hasreturned to celebrate the amazing diversity of Australian comedy. Weare back; bigger and better 29 Oct- 22 Nov,2008. “Beautifully organized, love the opportunity for new comedians” The festival will kick off with a launch of the Funny Sculpture exhibition throughout Subiaco's shop windows on 28 October. Funny Sculptures is the result of workshops held in Primary schools and PMH where young people interpret a joke or riddle in a 3 dimensional form. And from here the entertainment begins! Subiaco will be the host for national and local comedians performances and events in 6 venues over 26 days. such as; ~ The tre'scool Gala Night - a cacophony of excellentacts in one exclusive and unforgettable night (proceeds support RadioLollipop) ~ Headline shows TomGleeson, Fiona McO'Loughlin, Scared Little Weird Guys and more; ~ Standup performers national and local - vital, refreshing and wicked ; ~ The world ofshort comedy films in the Over the Fence international ~ The Festival HQ (@ theLlama Bar) a free venue for people to come and taste the shows on the night. ~ theextraordinary wit, rhyme and reason of the Technicolour Poets, Big HooHaa,and Flying Heart; ~ WWCF Picnic day (forall Family day on the Subi Arts Centre grounds Sun 9th ofNovember); ~ More free events ... and... more .......
