The Over The Fence Comedy Film Festival returns for its 14th year. The line up this year features a blaxploitation parody, a paranormal detective, and a father with a point to make to his ungrateful family, some troublesome cows, a Dickensian tea boy, a reluctant bride, a forgetful groom and a dinner date from hell. From black humour to slapstick comedy, this year’s Over The Fence presents a dazzling array of offbeat and funny shorts from all over Australia and around the world.

The program showcases 13 unique short comedies. This year’s Festival has attracted a number of films about relationships – between employer & employee, boyfriend & girlfriend, hunted & hunted hunter, father & ungrateful sons, a single woman & the mother-world, and of course an almost married couple & the priest.

It’s films like these that have helped make the Over The Fence the biggest touring comedy film festival in Australia. It has become a consistent event in the West Australian film calendar and has created an expectant audience for short film comedy.
